Give that cunt a new contract ?, do fuck off

Clinton Morrison said it on the beeb, why isn't he making more changes ?

I fucking detest his love in with that fucking cart horse Antonio

He is the laziest cunt at the club, puts hardly any effort in and his distribution is shocking

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
After today resounding no. Always be thankful for a European trophy but his in game management is too poor, and his lack of ability to change he isn't going to get any better.

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
One of the YouTube channels made a valid point the other day. Moyes has a lot of control at the moment. Surely any contract offered would remove that. Moyes insists on control. So maybe won't accept

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
Ask me my opinion at the end of the season.

Factually though, If we are comfortably top half and qualify for Europe again and even go on to win one of the cups or even in Europe, he will, whether you like his style or not, have been the most successful manager in our recent history overall and I think will be getting a new contract

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
Moyes is a stubborn cunt he's not used to having someone over him ie Tim Steidten controlling the transfers in and out.
Hopefully Steidten has a coach that will come and get the best out of this very good squad.
That man is definitely not the Scotch prick trophy or not.

It’s nice to be in a position to be able to see how the react of the season plays out and decide. We seem to have enough about us to be able to keep out of relegation trouble - hope I don’t regret saying that.

Willtell

I feel more relaxed if a chnage gets made next summer.

I'm not sure you're aware of the risks involved in changing managers :-)

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
I read that article from your reference to it LJC and yes it's just shit speculation from journos with nothing else to write about.

Sullivan doesn't renew manager's contracts too early. I guess he figures "keep them on their toes.".

Can you imagine though if Moyes has a great season he would turn WH and probably £15+m down? I can't. He a Scotsman for a start but who cares if he does?

The possibilities are more likely that he could have a poor season and may not get offered a renewal. Ordinarily with Sullivan making the next choice that would be a worry but with Steidten and Kretinsky having a greater influence over footballing matters I feel more relaxed if a chnage gets made next summer.

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
I said in this thread it's possible he might want to move on, but would still say it's unlikely, we seem to be his adopted home now and he seemingly likes being here.

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
Seems to be a few articles appearing about him not wanting to sign a new contract/us looking elsewhere. Seems to be very West Ham in sowing the seeds before he goes at the end of the season.

Before anyone says anything I know that’s a shit article but have seen a few over the last few days.

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
I'd want to know from him why is in game management is so piss poor against the bigger teams

Why is use of subs is so pathetic

And why he persists with a non scoring centre forward

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
A one year extension for a manager that has taken us into europe and won a trophy, how can you argue with that? Where have you lot been all these years 🤣

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
Great question, I have been very anti moyes, more for his style of play and the frustration of watching us knowing what we are capable of. Newcastle was a greate xample of trying to soak and not push until we needed to and then when we did go front foot we were miles better.

So I am Moyes out camp, however we have got to a semi final in Europe and then won it.

So I would maybe offer him up another year extension now to see how this season pans out.

I can't believe I have just said that

SoH You're talking absolute bollocks you know nothing cunt, you're clearly not West Ham if you expect us to try and be successful, go and support Spurs, we've always been shit you should be happy we haven't been relegated for ages you ungrateful cunt ;-)

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
We have a support base that suits those clubs that focus on getting Champions League football and everything else is meh. We don’t appreciate how big we’ve become without the results to push the big achievers button. With this growth made by the move to enable us to show just how well we are supported we then sit back and appreciate how far we’ve come without a thought of how are we going to long term kick on this needs a style/brand of football that is appealing to very good players and gets our support to that place where these players would love to play in front of us and it gives us a real ambition to get in and about the top spots even if we don’t often achieve it. With Moyes we are sitting just under that level and have no ambition to kick on this suits the owners and we don’t put any pressure on that.

Moyes has been an elevation into what this club could be but if you want to twist & not stick he is to be outed…..trouble is many want to stick…..as they can’t take the consequences of failure…..again…..fair do’s only to those that go pretty well week n week out.

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
Nagel,

As far as being stronger in European competition’s with those big European signings we didn’t have Kudus, Scamacca or Paqueta when we beat the most successful team in Europa league history on our way to reaching the semi finals in 2022.

Last season Scamacca missed a good bulk of the second half due to injury and wasn’t involved at all in the latter stages of European conference competition.

Some on here keep trying to suggest winning the Europa conference is easy and calling it minor “, Micky Mouse etc but it’s never simple to win these things. Villa lost to Rapid Vienna this season.

As I said previously, Arsenal & Man Utd should also have been favourites to win the Europa League last season given their financial strength over the others but they didn’t. Man Utd lost to Seville (who we beat) and Arsenal lost to Sporting. It’s never that simple. Even if we were one of the favourites we still deserve credit for being consistent throughout and seeing the job out.

Go and ask the majority of our fan base how they felt on June 7th about that “minor trophy”

We finished in the top 7 in successive seasons without spending stupid amounts. That should be something that deserves credit. We haven’t done that before in the top flight.
2 of the signings we made in that first season were the loan of Jesse Lingard and the 2 million signing of Craig Dawson. Many on here were complaining when we signed them but they helped us massively in qualifying for the Europa league and then in Dawson’s case getting to the semi final. That deserves credit.

As far as you saying that Moyes already had a strong squad built by Pellegrini and the money he spent, well as mentioned we finished 10th and got knocked out the cup by Wimbledon in his first season and were then 16th/17th when he got sacked half way through the 2nd season so it obviously wasn’t that strong despite the money spent.

There are people on here that don’t like Moyes and his style of play and want a change of manager. That’s fair enough.

If you pay your money to go to watch games then you are entitled to want to be entertained.

My main gripe is that some have built up such a hatred of Moyes that they are trying to rewrite history and say that finishing in the top 7 in successive seasons for the first time in our history, beating the most successful club in Europa league/UEFA Cup history on our way to the semi finals and then giving most of our fan base under 50 their most memorable night as a West Ham fan on June 7th wasn’t a big deal.

Re: Would you offer Moyes a new contract?
I think tomorrow's game against Villa will show us a lot. Moyes is hinting that Kudus will start which for me means Antonio on the bench and a tight defensive formation.

The only stat that matters for Moyes future is to get at least a draw but preferably a win. Even 0-1 will do me and fuck the possession stats...

Hinge it on the Arsenal game in the league cup!

Win that, new contract, lose, fuck off
